The second round of RC Mafia Offroad Series took place last weekend in Nowa Gadka (Poland). Home club did amazing job and prepared great track â“ one of the most difficult ones I have been on.
We arrived on track on Friday morning for free practice. XB8E worked great in dusty conditions and after few small setup changes car was dialled. I was surprised with my XB8â™16, I used my last race setup and car was awesome. I struggled a bit in 2wd class, low grip and huge jumps made the ride very challenging. However at the end of the day my Orion powered XB2 was working great.
In 2wd qualifications I had nice fights with young XRAY talent Jakub Luczak. I took TQ in Q1, while Jakub took TQs in Q2&Q3. For the last run we made several changes on the car and my XB2 took overall TQ!
In 4wd qualifications Tomasz Gadnicki and his XB4â™16 took an overall TQ!
In 1/8E buggy my XB8E with Orion power on PL Blockades X3 was absolutely amazing and took overall TQ by TQing first three rounds!
In 1/8E truggy class Marek Cisek took the overall TQ by TQing 3 of 4 rounds. My FX powered XB8â™16 dominated 1/8IC buggy qualifications and took the overall TQ!
In 1/8IC truggy Tomasz Gadnicky took his second TQ of the day with his XT9!
The finals were this time in a bit different style than we were used to â“ 5 rounds of finals / 3 best counted.
In 2wd finals I took an easy win in A1&A2. In A3 I had a really bad luck and finished 3rd, the win of A3 went to Pawel Kovalski. In A4 my XB2 once again got from the rest of the field and took the win.
In 4wd finals Tomasz Gadnicky continued his domination and took easy wins in A1&A2&A3!

In 1/8IC buggy we had a 45-minutes long final, where my XB8â™16 on PL Switchblade X2 got quickly away from the rest of the field and won the final with almost 2 laps in front of second driver!
